What is Quality ?

| With quality the meanings and definitions are many.
Typically, the term “Customer Satisfaction” is used to help companies with the performance of their quality system. At Gehring the opposite is true. Our quality features have reduced the cost of our products and improved the capability of our systems, thus setting the standards of Customer Satisfaction. Reduction of control components, optimization of tooling and processes before final design and working with customers on the design of their products has allowed us to become proactive in the implementation of successful new projects. The Gehring L.P. / Diato L.P. Group has successfully achieved ISO 9001: 2000 certification. This recent assessment of our quality system is a certification upgrade from the QS-9000 TE supplement. In March 2006, the Gehring L.P. / Diato L.P. Group was assessed by the NSF-ISR and was found to be in conformance to the ISO 14001: 2000 Environmental Standard. A copy of our certifications will be provided upon request. The quality systems we have in place have allowed us to produce better systems with higher accuracies and reliability for our customers. For Gehring L.P., continued improvement in our products and services is a daily activity. Defining and achieving the goals of our customers from both a cost and technology standpoint is our focus. |
