Gehring Delapena presents the new E 1000

An innovative honing machine with a revolutionary numerical control system

With the new E 1000 standard honing machine, Gehring Delapena is positioning its product range on a new level. This machine which is intended for horizontal processing, has no direct predecessor and thus greatly enhances Gehring Delapena‘s line of products. In its market segment, the E 1000 makes its biggest impression with a revolutionary numerical control system, which already, after an extremely short period of adaptation, facilitates intuitive and secure operation.

The new E 1000‘s area of application is the processing of components whose dimensions, shape and surface are consistent with bores of 1.14 to 35 millimeters in diameter and up to 200 millimeters in length. Thus, it is especially suited for the production of cogwheels and hydraulic and pneumatic parts.

With the new machine, Gehring Delapena is mainly targeting suppliers, repair operations and companies which place a high value on the versatility of their machines. In this context, the E 1000 can be utilized for individual as well as mass production.

The new E 1000 is groundbreaking, above all, by virtue of its simple and precise control system. The key element here is an easy to use colour screen monitor, using simple control icons. By means of a clearly laid out operator interface, the desired process parameters can simply be entered using symbols and up to 100 component programs can be stored.

Like all Gehring Delapena machines, the new E 1000 distinguishes itself through exemplary cost-effectiveness. Thus, simple and speedy maintenance reduces downtime to a minimum. In addition, among other factors, short cycle and changeover times contribute to very high productivity due to an intelligent tool system.
