Company Gehring amongst the innovative TOP 100s
Company Gehring GmbH & Co.KG from Ostfildern received for their outstanding achievements the seal of quality TOP 100. This was presented within the scope of a nationwide comparison study. Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the commercial university in Vienna examined the innovation management of small and medium sized businesses: The 100 best – like company Gehring – are now in a position to decorate themselves with the
“Seal of Quality TOP 100”.
The assessment measures on one side the innovation success in the market and at the same time four areas were assessed:
- Innovative processes and organization
- Innovation climate
- Innovation marketing as well as
- Innovation supportive Top-Management.
The Gehring GmbH & Co.KG convinced in all categories and so secured a rank amongst the TOP 100s. Gehring is system supplier in the field of honing technology. Mainly honing machines are used inside the automobile industry. Here they care for the cultivation of engines for optimum cylinder surfaces and so frictional losses can be reduced, which leads to low oil and gas consumption. The ideas for practically orientated innovations are coming in most cases from the employees, because at Gehring investments are intensively put into the knowledge and creativity of the employees.
